I've been watching several of these blogs now. I felt I should make one as well. I follow mainly those who have do tatting. I picked up a shuttle maybe 6-8 months ago now. Its the one craft I haven't put to the wayside. It is so portable.
My sister started me with tatting; we were looking through a craft book and she found the tatting page, "I would love to learn how to tat." That's all she had to say. Over the next few months I've been learning on my own and from the bloggers I've watched. I bought her a shuttle and thread an met up with her. I showed her what I had learned and am in the process of teaching her.
I like the look of shuttle tatting but I love the speed I get from needle tatting. I'm a right handed shuttle tatter and a left handed needle tatter. I hope to be able to post some of my pictures soon. First I need a digital camera...
